Contents
The official WAF invitation places the 2026 world and para championships in New Delhi from October 26 to November 7. As of October 15, the event is approaching, not already completed.
Read the projected turnout carefully
The projection exceeds 1,700 athletes, officials and supporters from over 60 countries. It is not a count of confirmed competing athletes alone or a final weigh-in roster.
National federations handle arrangements
WAF directs participants through their national member federation for registration and official arrangements. The detailed invitation package is the reference for individual competition days.
For viewers, a multi-category championship follows a different rhythm from a single supermatch card. The opening date of the overall programme should not be treated as the competition date of every age group and arm.
