Vitaly Laletin and Kamil Jablonski’s pre-match exchange has turned into a debate about the flop press. A Brazilian ArmWrestler clip published October 10 reproduces a practice-table image and a jab at Kamil’s strength in “real arm wrestling”.

Turning the argument around

At approximately 0:43–1:00, the clip presents the criticism; at 1:00–1:25, it relays Kamil’s response, pointing to Vitaly’s own use of the flop press against Devon. The retort challenges the consistency of the criticism rather than merely predicting a win.

That rhetorical reversal is the attraction of the exchange. It is not, by itself, a ruling on which technique is legal under every promotion’s rules.

A clip, not the full podcast

The video includes editing and the channel’s commentary. Its “backfires” verdict is editorial framing, not a match result. The complete original posts were not independently authenticated here; the EVW 27 contest remains upcoming at the editorial cutoff.
