EVW 27 brings Alex Kurdecha and Georgi Tsvetkov together again in Budapest on October 24, 2026.
Their earlier meeting
The official record lists Kurdecha winning 3–0 on the right arm at EVW 12, April 20, 2024. That supplies a direct reference point, while a gap of more than two years makes Budapest a new contest rather than a replay of an old result.
A more recent reference
Tsvetkov's EVW 25 meeting with Kamil Jablonski ended in a 2–4 right-arm defeat on August 1, 2026. Including that nearer result prevents the preview from relying entirely on the 2024 matchup.
The rematch invites comparison between two different points in their careers. Only the new contest can establish what has changed; an earlier score is context, not a promised outcome.
