Todd Hutchings, widely known by the nickname “Toddzilla,” is an American professional armwrestler recognized as one of the most accomplished middleweight and light-heavyweight pullers of the modern era. Known for exceptional side pressure, elbow integrity, inside strength and relentless training discipline, Hutchings has built a career spanning more than two decades while regularly defeating opponents significantly larger than himself.
Hutchings began competing seriously around the age of thirty-five and by the mid-2000s had become one of the strongest sub-200-pound competitors in North America. His breakthrough year was 2005, when he defeated John Brzenk right-handed at Ultimate Armwrestling II and won AAA National Championships with both arms in the 95 kg division.
During the 2010s, Hutchings won major titles in the Ultimate Armwrestling League and World Armwrestling League, including four consecutive right-arm WAL Championship Hammers from 2014 through 2017.
In November 2023, Hutchings defeated Kydyrgali Ongarbaev 5–0 at East vs West 10 to become the Right-Arm Light Heavyweight World Champion at 105 kg. In February 2025, he defeated Irakli Zirakashvili 4–2 at East vs West 16 to win the Right-Arm Middleweight World Championship at 95 kg.
Technically, Hutchings is best known for extraordinary side pressure and inside arm strength. He remains active at world level and one of the strongest American competitors in the middleweight and light-heavyweight divisions.
